They asked me how I knew my true love was true

I of course replied
我當然回答

內心的感受是無法否認的
They said
他們說

總有一天，你會發現戀愛中的人都是盲目的

You must realize smoke gets in your eyes
你必須了解，煙霧會迷濛了你雙眼

So I chaffed them
於是我挖苦他們
And I gaily laughed to think they could doubt my love
開心的笑著他們怎能質疑我的愛
Yet today my love has flown away,
如今，我的愛已遠颺
I am without my love
我失去了吾愛

Now laughing friends deride tears I cannot hide
現在，朋友們嘲笑著我掩藏不住的淚水
So I smile and say "when a lovely flame dies,
於是我笑著說：當愛的火焰熄滅
Smoke gets in your eyes"
